How Cobian Crown Was Born: The Story Behind My Music, My Brand, and My Crown

I never imagined that my life would lead me to write lyrics that would later become music. And I never imagined that those lyrics would be born from the deepest pain—the loss of my father. I wrote so I wouldn’t break. I wrote to breathe. I wrote to stay grounded as a mother, a daughter, and a woman in a moment when my entire world collapsed.

Even though I was already a graduate, continuing my education toward a BBA in Business and a Master’s in International Relations, I suddenly found myself without income. I was alone, with a broken foot, a house under reconstruction after a fire, a repossessed vehicle, and the responsibility of caring for my three children and my mother. It was a moment where anyone would have given up. But I didn’t.

With more than 20 years of experience working with numbers, creating business tax strategies, understanding social media algorithms, and being a voice for my community, I didn’t realize that life had been preparing me all along. I had been a radio host on FM radio, founded an online radio station, and learned how to communicate from the heart. All of that became the foundation I didn’t know I would need.

When life left me with nothing, it handed me a pencil. And with that pencil, I wrote my way out.

Today, my music is available on all digital platforms. Today, I am a registered writer and composer in the United States. Today, my digital stores are open. Today, my brand, Cobian Crown, is real. And every product I design carries a piece of my story, my struggle, and my heart.

My crown wasn’t given to me. I earned it—by facing my fears, stepping out of my comfort zone, and rising again and again. And the most valuable part of my brand is my legacy: Café Don Cobian, created in honor of the great man who always knew my crown was firmly in place.

This is me. This is my story. And this is only the beginning.
